Paying rent


To pay your rent online please go to allpay.net (Please note you will be directed to an external website)

LHT provides advice and assistance with the completion of housing benefit application forms as well as benefit and money advice. LHT provides assistance benefit advice

Despite this there will be occasions when arrears arise. LHT takes a firm but fair approach in managing arrears cases. We will never enter a case into court where there are housing benefit issues outstanding and all tenants will have received at least five contacts prior to a court application being made.

If you have any concerns about your rent account with LHT, you can make an appointment to see your Income Management Officer by contacting the Customer Service Centre on 01928 796000. 

Methods of payment

• In person at any Post Office by cash, cheque or debit card You can also pay at any outlet displaying the PayPoint, Payzone, e-pay or Payment Services signs. These are all free of charge. You can search for your nearest available outlet at www.allpay.net 
• In person at Runcorn District Office by cash, cheque, credit or debit card
• Direct Debit or Standing Order – please call our Customer Service Centre on 01928 796000
• Telephone – please call 0844 557 8321 (calls charged at national rate) and follow the instructions
• Text messaging – please visit www.allpay.net and follow the instructions. You will need to have a mobile phone, Rent Payment Card and/or credit card details to use this service
• Internet – please visit www.allpay.net
