Tackling ASB

Tackling Antisocial Behaviour

At LHT we see it as one of our main priorities to create desirable neighbourhoods. We are commPolice Community Support Officersitted to tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) effectively in line with the Government's RESPECT initiative and have a successful track record of enforcing tenancy conditions, using the law, offering youth diversion and supporting families.

We are involved in many partnerships with local councils, police, fire services and other landlords so that we can share information and resources to tackle ASB together. We want to hear from you about any ASB in your area.

What to do if you’re a victim of ASB

Many problems can be resolved simply by talking to the individuals involved. For example people are often willing to reduce noise once they realise it is causing neighbours a problem.

If the problem continues, you should contact us by calling 01928 796000. When you contact us we will need as much information as possible so that we are able to take appropriate action. It is therefore useful if you have kept a record of the incident, including the time and date it took place, what exactly happened and who was involved.

If you require urgent help, please phone the Police on 999.

Engagement and Diversion

LHT also works to prevent antisocial behaviour. For example our Jigsaw Youth Squad seeks to divert young people away from antisocial behaviour and to educate them about the impact that it has on their community.  LHT currently works with the North Liverpool Community Justice Centre (CJC). The Centre aims to help solve problems that cause crime in people’s neighbourhoods as well as dealing with crime itself. LHT also works in partnership with the community and other service providers in Runcorn on a range of diversionary activity throughout the year, for example Castlefields Gold Awards, an innovative programme of community events.
