Performance

We aim to provide tenants with high quality homes in safe and clean neighbourhoods.

Each year we set ourselves challenging targets across all areas of our business. Each year we report to tenants on our performance, and how tenants’ views have been used to improve services.

In our latest report, our achievements included:

• Investing £11.6 million in improvements to tenants’ homes and over £330,000 on refurbishing empty properties.
• Collecting over £100,000 of former tenants’ arrears.
• Implementing a new out of hours emergency repair service.
• Providing additional support to enable over 700 vulnerable tenants to maintain their tenancies.
• Delivering over 60 affordable new homes for rent and sale in Liverpool and Cheshire.

We want tenants to help us keep improving by telling us what they think of our services and helping to shape the way they are delivered.

LHT was last inspected by the Audit Commission in 2003. The Audit Commission awards housing organisations up to 3 stars for service to customers and for commitment to improve services. LHT received 2 stars for our service to customers and the maximum 3 stars for our commitment to improve services.
